The Most Wonderful Birthday

My very special birthday!
Chelsey and Tracy swept me away and told me I was only going to be gone for an hour - but doing what, they did not say.  Well, I had my first pedicure done.  It was wonderful to have someone paint my toes and smooth out my callus heels.  Thanks Chelsey and Tracy - aren't they just beautiful toes!
Then, I went to work and the guard called and said that I need to pick something up - Dennis had sent this beautiful bouquet of flowers - I was the envy of everyone at work - Thanks honey - I love you!
And then there was even more surprises - I am generally the one with the camera snapping photo's whenever I can, but someone tricked me this time - they took a photo and I didn't even know about it.  This is the best birthday present that anyone could ever ask for - I love pictures of my grand babies.  I will make copies for anyone that would like them.  (I looked on the disk and there are over 80 photo - they are just beautiful).
Then even more surprises - Dennis asked me if I wanted to go to a movie and dinner and I said let's just go camping overnight.  So we threw in some sleeping bags, a cooler and a tent and off we went to Mesa Falls.
This is a view from Upper Mesa Falls.  It was such a clear, beautiful day.
The flowers were all in bloom.

And of course, this creatures come to pick up the left over food at the campsite across from us.  This crow was huge!
There was tons of water coming over the falls this year - I tried to capture the rainbow in the falls for little Lizzie to see.

Baby Blessings - Madelynn 07/02 and Jaxon 07/16

I think the pictures tell it all - these are the sweetest little angels straight from heaven.

The gang is all here - look at all thoe heads!
Yes, this is Jaxon being held by his FATHER!  I think Tracy was just about to kill him.
However, this picture was taken soon after and Tracy looks pretty happy - on second thought - Tyler looks extremely happy!  I am not sure about Jaxon??

 Quite the little man!

I love seeing babies all in white!

07-01-2011 A day with Grandma

It was quite the day - we decided to "paint the town" with some of the grandkids.  We had a lot of places to see and fun things to do.  Along with Chelsey and Tracy's help we hauled kids in and out of vehicles for an entire day.  Below is pictures of every place that we went.  It started off a Dennis's work at Kenworth Sales.  Dennis took the kids out to see the big semi trucks and then hoisted them up to the inside of the truck cab. (Hunter totally loved the big tires)

The next stop was off to Browning's honey for some delicious honey candy and to see all the different kinds of honey.

Next stop was to pick up Abby, Jaxon and Tracy.
After picking them up we traveled to the Sand Dunes by the Sandy Downs racetrack.  I think the kids could have played all day in the sand.  (My bathtub showed evidence of a lot of sandy hair)
Jaxon was content to stay in the pilot with Tracy.
I am glad that Chelsey was there to pull me up the hill so we could have this wonderful picture taken.
After all that play in the sand, we took off for McDonald's to eat.
After eating we went to the "all access" playground at Tautphaus Park.  The kids had a blast playing the instruments and swing on the toys.

This is the best part - Chelsey took them up in a real Ferris wheel.  I thought for sure that they would start screaming, but I think they totally enjoyed it.

Ah, yes Hunter tells it like it is - this is just making me sleepy!
And very last, back to grandma's for some fun on the slip and slide and some Popsicles.
Oh, what an incredibly fun day - I am glad that I could spend time doing what I enjoy best  being with my grand kids.  (Maybe next time we will take them all)!
Oh, I totally forgot our shopping trip to Shopko to pick up something, but we ended up buying "fancy" sandals for everyone!  Wow, what a day!
