We had a great time at Ruby Hanft's 90th birthday party on Saturday, January 17, 2009. We used the theme of "Ruby Red" and all of the decorations were bright red. We had a "red" chair for her to sit in and a red wine goblet and red pomegrante 7-up to drink. We had lots of family and friends that attended. Deon, Mom's oldest son came from Washington State and Henry and Ravenna Hanft came from Sandy, Utah with all of their extended family. Troy and Laura Loftus were supposed to fly into Idaho Falls but because the fog was so bad they only made it to Salt Lake City, Utah where Henry drove down with another vehicle that they could drive up to Idaho. They were so thankful that Henry could do this because there were no vehicles to rent at the SLC airport due to some large conference being held in SLC. The day was a great success with Mom getting to see a lot of her old and dear friends and family.
