03-26-2010 Trip to Jackson and Bear Cubs

This is what the top of the pass to Jackson looked like. It was good in the morning when we went over, but a storm hit on the way home.  It was pretty slow driving.

Here is a big horned sheep along the side of the road - I took the picture from inside of Travis's vehicle.  I was amazed that they were so close to the side of the road.

Ok - I know this doesn't look real - but the Elk actually posed for my picture.

March 19-22 - Trip to Seattle

e had a wonderful time on our trip to Seattle.  We travelled on the link which is close to Troy and Laura's house.  It was a great way to get around the city.

We had a lunch at the famous Ivars fish bar.

Troy's company is working on the "upper" floors of the Lusty Lady! Wow!

And of course we went to where the tulips were - they were the most incredible site to witness.  It's nice to know that we can still go places where there is so much beauty.

Here is all of us at the bottom of deception point.  The weather was beautiful.

This is at Deon and Donna's "cottage" at Oak Harbour.  Troy made some pretty tasty potatoes and chicken in the dutch ovens.  The fire pit was perfect to cook in.

Oh, I just had to take this picture of all the trees in bloom - near Pike's Place market.

Tanner's Birthday - Family photo

Tanner and Chelsey deciding what to order at "Buddys"  - Hello, the only think that you order at Buddy's is there famous salad with dressing and french bread with garlic and cheese.  We tried the pizza, but it wasn't very good.

We stopped at my Mom's after having lunch/dinner with Tanner and Chelsey. I just had to take a picture of this beautiful lily - it was just beautiful.  I wish that I had my Mother's green thumb.  I generally take her my plants after they have wilted down to nothing.

Here is the family photo that we had taken at Christmas.  I am planning on making a CD for everyone.  What a nice bunch!
