I generally don't have a problem writing a blog, but this was hard because I knew that I would not see my grandchildren as much as I would like because they were moving further away. (Good excuse to do some traveling, though) Travis and Ryann brought the kids up to our house a couple of weeks before they were going to leave. Chelsey, Tanner, Tracy, Tyler and kids all came over and we had Travis's famous egg rolls. It was great to get to see the kids before they left on their adventure to Quincy, Washington. I recently received an envelop in the mail from them and I was so happy to hear that they were doing so well. The letters to my Mom, Ruby came at a very special time too. She was feeling a little depressed and the letters cheered her up and made her feel like she was important in their lives. Thanks for remembering her! We did make it down to see the kids before they left and we took pictures in front of their house and on the inside so they would have memories of Pocatello, Idaho. The pictures are of Travis's kids and from family members that will miss them so much. We love Travis's family and wish them well in their new adventures. I can't wait to hear about school, their house, neighbors, unpacking, moving in, church, work and friends they have made. (PS Tyler and Tracy were not happy that you were moving as you can tell by the body posture and expressions on their faces)

Kylie and Cooper 1st Birthday
Wow! It hard to believe that an entire year has gone by since the twins were born Chelsey had a Mickey Mouse birthday theme which we celebrated at a local church house because so many family members are a part of their lives. The twins were typical one year olds at their birthday. They just wanted to run around and play and could care less about opening presents. It was pretty funny to see Chelsey and her Mom sitting on the floor opening the birthday presents while the twins were in the hallway running up and down. The birthday cake was soooo cute with the Mickey Mouse theme and the luncheon was great with all of the food. I think it is so great when family members can get together and enjoy happy times together. I included a picture of Alisa because she is getting to look like a typical teenager and so grown up. When did she grow up, I keep thinking she should still be a kid. Abby enjoyed wearing the Mickey mouse ears. Dennis is holding baby Kaytina - I kept begging to hold the baby and then Tyler gave her to his Dad. Oh, well it's nice for girls to know their Grandpa's. Love the picture of Cooper pushing the broom at the end of the day - it was at least twice his size. Happy Birthday Kylie and Cooper - Your Grandma and Grandpa Love you both!
Kaytina Mae
All: Life doesn't get any better than this when you can see a wonderful new life being brought into this world. Little Kaytina was born Feb. 4, 2013 in Pocatello, Idaho to Neta and Tyler. This little one needed to come a little early to help Mom out. I know that her parents were both worried, but all worked out just fine. We did have baby shower for Neta before Kaytina decided to come out. She received tons of diapers and wipes and lots of baby girl outfits. Kaytina was born fairly small, but she was tough from day ONE, she kept pulling the feeding tube out of her month so they had to tape it to her face. She never had to go on oxygen which meant that her lungs were in good shape. She stayed in the NICU for about 2 weeks and then they let her go home. She is so cute and adorable. Good work Tyler and Neta! I took lots of pictures which say it all. We love her dearly! Thanks for letting us be a part of such a great event!
