01-30-12 Hunter Birthday with Grandma & Grandpa

Hunter was so excited about his birthday this year.  We went down on the weekend because his birhday was during the week and it is hard to get away on a weekday.  We bought him this GREEN Tractor.  He could hardly wait to get it out of the package.  I wished that I had my video going instead of just taking pictures.  First thing he did was find something to put in the tractor hauler and away he went.  We truly love spending time with our greandchildren. However,  I wish that they wouldn't grow up so fast.  Happy 3rd Birthday Hunter!

02-14-12 Valentine's Day and Bone Road

We decided instead of going out for a fancy dinner on Valentine's Day to go for a drive up bone road and see all of the windmills.  My intent was to take pictures of the windmills and then as we were driving up, Dennis says look behind us.  Wow, the most incredible sunsets.  I tried taking pictures with some of my nighttime settings and they worked pretty well. When we were driving back home it was dark and right before we came back into Ammon we had a deer walk right in front of the truck.  It was a good thing that Dennis wasn't driving very fast or we would have ran right into it.  It was a great day for a drive and a great Valentine's Day!

01-06-12 Chelsey's Huge Baby Shower

All:  Chelsey should be plenty ready for this baby.  She was so cute on her baby shower day.  Tracy, Ryan and I went to the baby shower in Idaho Falls (also Maddie and Jaxon).  While we were driving to the shower I got this call from Chelsey and she says  "Where are you? and I said we were on our way.  At that point she tells me that my Mother was there and waiting for us.  I had no idea that she was even coming.  I was glad that she made an effort to come up and support Chelsey at her shower.  We had a lot of fun watching Chelsey open her gifts and had fun playing lots of baby shower games.  Way to go Chelsey - thanks for inviting us!
